My Love Bug - 8 months!

Time is flying! Someone just turned 8 months old yesterday! (May 23, 2010). That someone is my little girl. :] I can't believe it. It seems just yesterday I fount out I was pregnant with her...even though that was more than a year ago. But last year on May 13th 2009 I did find out I was carrying a girl. And me and my better half couldn't have been more happy!

She learned to crawl at 7 months 1 week and 6 days. Lol, yes I had to be exact with that. :] And ONE week ago, yes ONE week ago she learned to pull up, and being BRAVE and letting go of what she is holding on to, and trying to stand on her own. Is she trying to walk already??? S l o w d o w n baby girl.

Her favorite word is "da da" and when she says it...she keeps going! Lol. :] I'll look at her and say "mama" and she will go "da da". Hahah she is hilarious! She can also say the words, "yeah" and "no" and "hey." And knows what she means!

My little love bug and her brother already had some kind of connections. (YES, I do know she doesn't know/understand that I'm pregnant) but what I mean is, she will kick my tummy and then he will kick back.:] Lol. Then she will get to talking in her baby language and then he starts moving like a storm is coming through. :] So I'm glad they are already sharing that brotherly/sisterly love. :] Makes me super happy!

Pregnancy Journal- 29 Weeks!

So today I am 29 weeks pregnant! I have only 11 more weeks until my due date. This pregnancy has defiantly flown by! I mean, well I do have a almost 8 month old who is mobile now and keeping me busy! So I do owe it all to her for keeping my mind off of how many days left. :] I remember this stage of pregnancy so clearly...well only cause I just went through it not even a year ago!

This pregnancy is very different though. Last year, I carried higher, and this time I am carrying lower. I hardly was tired last time, and this go around, I can get a full nights rest and nap during the day, and still feel exhausted! Running to pee every 5 minutes is an understatement! This time I'm in the bathroom peeing more than anything; whereas last year, I was in the bathroom with morning sickness galore! The toilet by far was my best friend. Lol.

Its great to compare pregnancies and see how much has changed from this stage last year to now. Here is a picture of me pregnant last year with my daughter.

But not much is going on this week. I go back to the OB next week. So I will have more of an update then. :]

A little Intro :]

So this is my journey to blogging! Where do I start…. Hmmm??? Well my name is Awna. It hasn't always been Awna-and NO I haven't went and got my name changed. I just wanted people to start calling me that. Only because of my real name. I love it, but it reminds me so much of someone who I'm slowly letting go of in my life. (But I will talk about that on another day.)

I'm 22 years young and about to be a mother of TWO! Yes I said TWO! I went from having NO babies at the age of 21 to having ONE at the age of 22 and my next one will be arriving sometime at the end of July early August, and I will still be 22. (It amazes me that I will {Lord's Willing} have had both of my babies at the same age.) They will be about 10 months apart. (I will do a blog about that too.)

I have a wonderful boyfriend who is an amazing father. We are going on two years, and I'm loving every moment of it. He is my other half, my best friend and I couldn't have asked for a better person to share my life with. I love you Greg, Always & Forever.

Right now, I'm a stay at home mom, and no matter what any one says....IT is a JOB. :] I love every minute of it, and I'm glad I get to experience watching my children grow. I do plan on going back to school and getting my degree, but want to enjoy being a mother first. :] Unless I can get online classes and that would be great!

Photography is my hobby! I love it! Pictures are everlasting memories that will never fade, and they really and truly are worth more than a 1000 words. :] So be prepared to see a cajillion photos on my blogs in the future!

Well its getting late, and my two loves are curled up in bed waiting for me, and the little one growing inside is kicking away. I guess he is ready for mommy to lay it down too. :]
